Read what Omonia coach Cetil Rekdal said after his team's 2-1 defeat by AEK in Larnaca.
Analytically…
"They deserved to win. They were better in the first half. We had a great start, took the lead but then came under pressure. They had a post, chances, we were chasing them from behind, unfortunately they scored in stoppage time for 1-1. The second half was more balanced but we still have to accept that AEK deserved to win. We have work to do."
On the second consecutive defeat in a derby and what is to blame: "We played a very good game against Paphos. With the available players it was normal to put the best ones based on the shape, it doesn't mean it will be like that every week. We have to find the best position for each player, handle it. We have to play more like we did against Paphos. Today we didn't. We had to change the system because we didn't have many options to choose from."
