The Police made two arrests on Tuesday in connection with an investigation into theft and receiving stolen property.
According to an announcement, yesterday afternoon, following a coordinated operation by the Nicosia CID, a car driven by a 39-year-old, with a 26-year-old man as a passenger, was located and intercepted in a Nicosia area.
Following a search conducted inside the vehicle, various items such as watches, electronic tablets, and others were found, which were seized as evidence.
Additionally, a small quantity of narcotics (cannabis and crystal substance) was found, and after a relevant examination, it was determined that the vehicle in question had been reported as stolen.
Both the 39-year-old and the 26-year-old were arrested for committing offenses caught in the act and were placed under arrest to facilitate further investigations.
The Nicosia CID continues its inquiries.
