In his statements to the journalists, entering the Municipal Hall of Strovolos for the presentation of the book by George George, the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, referred to the possibility of closing the stadiums due to what happened at "Alfamega".
The PtD left open the possibility of a decision to close the stadiums, stressing that it is waiting for the decisions of the executive KOP.

I don't want us to end up with football matches and for every sports fan to have a police officer. If some people want this championship, this championship will not exist. So, I am anxiously waiting to hear decisions and, I repeat, I am not ruling anything out."
