Apollo returned to winning ways, easily beating Doxa 3-0 away from home.
With this victory, the team from Limassol reached 32 points, still having a distance from the top six (including AEK at 36 with a game less), while Doxa remains stuck in last place with eight points.
The Blues imposed their pace from the start and managed to lock up the three points by the end of the first half, which they sealed early in the second.
The road to victory opened in the 17th minute when, after a corner, the ball reached Malekkidis (from Peretz's effort) and with a shot he sent the ball to rest in Antoniou's net.
This goal gave the Limassol team the opportunity to control the pace and in the 45th minute, with an extremely beautiful goal by Valbuena, with a spot kick outside the area, it became 2-0.
The visitors, conserving strength ahead of next Wednesday's cup match, scored a third goal early in the second half with Bangega, in his first appearance as a starter in the blue shirt, making it 3-0.
