On paper but not in practice, the law prohibiting prolonged standing remained, which does not appear to have been implemented in any workplace. It has been almost three weeks since the 20th of December 2023 that the legislation to control the standing of workers came into force, taking into account the best practices prepared and published by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU OSHA) on issues standing in workplaces and the implementation of necessary measures to avoid them.
